RULES
Read through everything before jumping in. The rules are simple and just keep things fun for everyone.

01Max 100 players per team. Teams are a great way to play with friends and share a base.
02Register your team in #teams on Discord to make it official. Only registered teams count!
03Alliances are totally welcome! Work with whoever you want.
04No cheating. This means no minimap mods, player tracking, freecam, hacks, or any unfair client-side advantage. Cheating gets you banned.
05Check the messages at spawn when you first join. Lots of useful info is posted there!

Overworld border changed to 12,000 blocks wide (6,000 in every direction from 0,0)

Spawner Shop: Removed
Iron Golem, Witch, Slime, Creeper, and Enderman spawners removed from shop
Spawner stack limit is now 500. Keeps the economy from getting out of hand with massive grinder setups.
Storage capped at 2 pages. Encourages players to sell and move items rather than hoarding everything.
XP is now capped at 1,000 levels
Shop Changes
Several items removed from the shop on purpose. We want players using /ah, building proper farms, and grinding for resources rather than buying everything from the shop.
This makes player-run trade more valuable and keeps the economy feeling alive

Mace Nerf + Performance

Mace now has a 30 second cooldown to make combat fairer for everyone
Wind Burst, Density, and Breach enchantments can no longer be applied to the Mace

FIRST THINGS AT SPAWN

Read the signs at spawn. Important info is posted there. Takes 60 seconds and will save you from a lot of confusion.

You start with $50,000. This is your starting balance. This is a survival SMP at heart. The economy is built around actually farming and grinding for your resources, not buying everything outright.
🎒
Claim your starter kit. Type /kit to see all available kits. The starter kit is one-time only. Hourly kits reset every hour.
🗺️
Get out of spawn with /rtp. Type /rtp to teleport somewhere random within the world border. Best way to find unclaimed land. 60 second cooldown.

EXPLORING AND SETTLING IN

Set your homes. You can set up to 10 homes with /sethome [name] and teleport back with /home [name]. Set one as soon as you find a good spot.

Know the world borders. The Overworld extends 6,000 blocks from spawn in every direction. Nether is 1,500 and the End is 5,000.

TPA to other players. Use the TPA system to teleport to any online player. Great for meeting up with friends.

Right-click to sit. Right-click any stair, slab, or block to sit down. Small thing but it goes hard.

Voice chat is available. Download the Simple Voicechat mod and you can talk to players near you in-game without needing Discord.

THE ECONOMY

Claim your daily. Type /daily every 24 hours for free money. Never miss it.

The Auction House is the main place to buy and sell on LUXSMP. Type /ah to browse. To sell, hold the item and type /ah sell [price]. Many items are no longer in /shop. The AH is where trades happen.

Farm and grind to make money. Sell prices are intentionally low to encourage building proper farms. Check the Spawner Prices page to see exactly what each drop sells for.

Know the limits. Storage is capped at 2 pages, XP at 1,000 levels, and spawners can only stack up to 500.

LUXSMP Realty lets you list your base for sale or run an auction.LUXSMP Realty lets you list or buy bases via flat sale or auction. In-game money integration is coming. For now deals are handled between players.

TEAMS

Teams are optional. You don't have to be in one. They're just a way to group up with friends and play together.

How do I join on Java?▼
Add play.1kluxx.com as a new server in your multiplayer menu. No port needed. Make sure you're on a compatible version.
How do I join on Bedrock?▼
Go to Servers, add a new server with IP 51.79.38.133 and port 8165. If you're on console you may need a DNS workaround like BedrockConnect.
Do I need to do anything when I first join?▼
Read the signs at spawn. There's important info posted there and it's worth taking a minute to go through it. Use /rtp to teleport away from spawn when you're ready to start exploring. You'll start with $50,000 in your balance automatically.
How do I make money?▼
A few ways: use /daily every 24 hours for free money, sell items using /ah sell [price] on the auction house, or farm spawner drops and sell them. Check the Spawner Prices page to see what each drop is worth.
How do I use the auction house?▼
Type /ah to browse items other players are selling. To sell something, hold the item in your hand and type /ah sell [price]. Players can buy it anytime.
What are kits and how do I get them?▼
Type /kit to see all available kits. There's a one-time starter kit, hourly kits that reset every hour, and some purchasable kits. Claim them whenever they're available.
Why are spawner sell prices different from /shop?▼
Since we added the spawners mod, spawner drops have their own separate sell prices that don't match /shop. Check the Spawner Prices page for the full list so you always know what your drops are worth before selling.
How do I make a team?▼
In-game, type /team create [name] to create your team. Then post your team name and members in #teams on Discord to make it official. Teams are completely optional. They're just a nice way to play with friends and share a base.
How many players can be in a team?▼
Up to 100 players. Teams can be as small or as large as you want.
My team got disbanded. What happened?▼
Teams that weren't resubmitted in #teams after the May 9 update were automatically disbanded. Just post your team again in Discord with your members and you're good to go.
What mods are allowed?▼
Performance mods like Sodium, Lithium, and OptiFine are fine. Not allowed: minimap mods, player tracking mods, freecam, or anything that gives you an unfair advantage. When in doubt, don't use it.
Are totems allowed?▼
No. Totems of Undying are banned items on LUXSMP. Using one will get you flagged. The full banned items list is on the Rules page.
What happened to the Mace?▼
The Mace was nerfed on May 12. It now has a 30 second cooldown. Can't put Wind Burst, Density, or Breach on it anymore. No longer craftable either. Any Maces already in the game will remain. No new ones can be crafted.
What is LUXSMP Realty?▼
Realty is our player-run property market built into this website. You can list your base for a flat price or run a timed auction. Other players can browse listings, bid on auctions, or buy outright. Head to the Realty tab to check it out.
Does Realty use my in-game money?▼
Not yet. Right now deals are handled between players in-game. Just DM the seller after purchasing to sort the transfer. We're working on a plugin to connect Realty directly to the in-game economy. That's coming soon.
How do I list my base on Realty?▼
Go to the Realty tab, create a free account using your IGN, then click + List. Add a name, price or starting bid, some photos, and hit Post. Your listing goes live immediately.
How do I set homes?▼
Use /sethome [name] to set a home at your current location. You can have up to 10 homes. Type /home [name] to teleport back to one.
How does /rtp work?▼
Type /rtp to teleport to a random location within the world border. It works in the Overworld, Nether, and End with a 60 second cooldown. The Overworld border is 6,000 blocks from spawn in every direction. Great for getting away from spawn when you first join.
Why were items removed from the shop?▼
Items were removed from the shop on purpose. The goal is to push players toward using the Auction House, building farms, and actually grinding for their stuff. It makes trade between players more meaningful and keeps the economy from just being "buy everything from the shop." If you need something, check /ah first.
Is there a limit on how many spawners I can stack?▼
Yes, spawners stack up to 500. This was added to keep the economy balanced and stop massive automated grinder setups from breaking things.
Is there a storage or XP cap?▼
Yes. Storage is capped at 2 pages, so sell your items regularly rather than letting them pile up. XP is also capped at 1,000 levels.
Can I sit down in-game?▼
Yep! Just right-click any stair, slab, or block and your character will sit down. It's a small immersion thing but it goes hard. Right-click again or move to stand back up.
How does voice chat work?▼
Download the Simple Voicechat mod and install it. Once in-game you'll be able to hear and talk to players near you automatically. No setup needed beyond installing the mod.
I got banned. What do I do?▼
If you think it was a mistake, fill out a ban appeal on the Ban Appeal page. Be honest and staff will review it within a few days.
I want to join the staff team. How?▼
Fill out an application on the Apply page. We read every submission and will reach out via Discord if you're a good fit.
